The Noxen, Kunkle, and Ruggles United Methodist Churches are busy as ever!  Events this month and next include holiday services, health presentations, a spring concert and a pulled pork dinner!  Check out their page for information and details.

Chuck Kovalick offers art classes in the Spring and Fall for only $5 per student, per month.  Sessions last 10-12 weeks and are held at the Noxen Library on Wednesday evenings from 6-10 PM!  Click here for more information. You can also visit Chuck's website at www.chuckswildlifeart.com.

Lost or found a pet?  We've added a pets page that list the addresses, phone numbers, and websites of pet shelters and humane societies in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties.

Looking for a place to host your next event?  Whether you're throwing a baby shower or a birthday party, the Noxen School and Community Center is available for $80 ($40 if you're a resident of Noxen).  The smoke-and alcohol-free environment is perfect when you need a large group space.  Reservations require a $50 deposit which will be returned after the event (provided the space is clean and undamaged). Bookings require two weeks notice.  Call Cathie Pauley, Noxen Historical Association President and building manager, at 570-298-2052.
